What is the difference between DTF and UV DTF? Can UV DTF print garments?
DTF is textile heat transfer with flexible hot melt adhesive, good wash fastness. UV DTF (crystal sticker) uses rigid UV glue for hard materials only. Not suitable for clothes; it cracks easily after washing.
Can I press DTF with a home iron? Must I use a heat press machine?
Iron can only be used for trial, not recommended. It has unstable temperature and uneven pressure. A flat heat press is required for professional stable results.
How much is a full DTF printer set? What is included in an entry-level package?
Price depends on print heads. Entry dual-head set includes printer, powder shaker & dryer, computer and RIP software. Optional: heat press, air compressor. Long-term cost includes ink, powder and print head maintenance.
White ink sediment, how to maintain? How often to clean print heads?
Keep white ink tank continuously stirred. Check and clean nozzle daily, protect print head after work. Protect nozzle if idle over 24 hours. Static white ink causes sediment and nozzle damage.
Is DTF equipment high-failure? Is it easy to maintain?
Failure rate is controllable with proper maintenance. White ink clogging is the most common fault. Maintain stable workshop temperature & humidity, stir ink and clean powder residue regularly.

A: Price depends on pattern size, colors, quantity, fabric and wash test requirement. Quotation = material cost + labor + waste + profit + sampling fee. Small orders have higher unit price.

Can DTF make luminous, reflective and thick plate effects?
Yes. Use special reflective powder for reflective prints, luminous ink for luminous effect. Thick plate effect is achieved by multi-layer printing and heavy powder. Pre-test wash fastness.
